Some of you may recall that I attempted to hike the Presidential Range, including Mt. Washington in the White Mountains of NH last year and ended up bailing out 1/2 way. I encountered horrendous weather over Mt. Madison including 65 mph winds, fog, rain and hail — I had finally met my match with fear! But I was not going to give up! So I went back this year to try again. This time with a women’s outdoor adventure group called Adventures in Good Company. This trip truly was a redeeming trip in so many aspects — great company, amazing weather — no rain and no WIND! It just might be my absolute favorite hike on the entire Appalachian Trail. The views were just breathtakingly STUNNING! I can’t even express my gratitude enough to You Heavenly Father – I will just continue to sing Your praises and give You ALL the Glory!
