Appalachian Trail – VA 641 to Craig’s Creek, VA – June 27-29, 2015 – 47.3 miles

Continuing to knock out the miles in Virginia — there is a total of 550 miles of the AT through this state and I have approx 280 done so far. This trip was done over 3 days, 47.3 miles and I went by myself on this trip. VA 641 is where Jonathan and I finished back in May after walking through the town of Pearisburg, VA.

It was a fairly uneventful hike in regards to views but reasonably quiet on the Trail in regards to the # of people out this weekend. I had a lot of time to pray this trip, especially for my little nephew Halen who was in the hospital with E.coli!  Hiking the AT isn’t just about hiking, it’s about the experiences that goes along with it, and praying for Halen will always be the most memorable part of this particular hike.  All in all another good hike!
