Back on the Trail! Second annual winter hike. After the 4th attempt, I finally finished the state of Maryland! I hiked with Jonathan and Charlie once again.
we drove to PenMar Park, once again (and hopefully for the last time!), and met Aaron our shuttle driver. Aaron is the driver who gave me a ride last fall. He gave us a ride to the Tower Access Rd. at Lambs Knoll where I came off last October when I broke my leg. It was a perfect winter day – some snow still on the ground, the Trail a little snowy, and then slushy later in the day depending on which side of the mountains we were hiking, the temps were close to 60 degrees, sunny and mostly clear skies. Not bad for February!
