It was an absolutely another amazing hike! I did this hike with yet another new hiking partner, Dorinda. She and I would do several more hikes this year together. I did not realize that this hike would be taking us over more balds! That is my absolute favorite type of environment on the AT – being above tree line at approximately 5,600 ft. in elevation, with views as far as the eye can see! Just GORGEOUS. I just wanted to break out and sing “…the fields are alive, with the Sound of Music…!” as you will see…
